In 1913 Marcel Duchamp assembled the first readymade. He attached a common front wheel and fork of a bicycle to the seat of a kitchen stool and entitled it Bicycle Wheel. He also introduced the term readymade. This centennial of the first readymade inspired Martijn Swaab to assemble unusual combinations of daily objects.
